I’m sure it can mean different things to different people, because that tends to be the way these things work, and I don’t want to speak for anyone but myself here
but to me, it means the following:
- I’m not interested in being in a romantic relationship with anyone, ever. seriously. it’s not that I haven’t found the right person, it’s that I straight up (haha) can’t see myself with anyone when I imagine my future, and that’s the way I like it
- it is very, very rare that I feel sexual attraction to someone, but not completely unheard of, which is why it’s “grey-area” instead of just asexual
- I don’t identify as strictly male or female in terms of gender, so I like to be referred to by pronouns like “they” and I occasionally get really dysphoric about my body and tend to ramble about it in text posts and tags because I use my tumblr as an outlet
